THERMOHYGROGRAPH2IN CHARGE OF THE CELESTIAL GODS
Thermohygrograph2, Installation view, Bury Museum & Art Gallery, Bury, BE
During an in situ intervention at a public portrait gallery, Thermohygrograph2, 2013,I placed
the active device of a thermohygrograph next to an already existing one in function. The two devices
created a live portrait of the visitors outlining simultaneously the paradigmatic demonstration of the
sublime qualities of depiction found in an art gallery and the modesty of the lively, spontaneous
version of the human model.
